Grants Available for Tacking Mental Health Inequalities

Spotlight Development Grants Programme

Healthy Minds is working in collaboration with Rethink Mental Illness to tackle mental health inequalities in Calderdale and to shine a spotlight on the organisations which work with those who do not usually access services
We are offering grants of up to £15,000 for a 12-month long project which should expand or improve mental health services which are available to parts of the community who do not currently access them. This could be due to mistrust of services, religious or cultural belief, or difficulty accessing mainstream services. It should also improve recovery and prevention of poor mental health in groups affected by health inequalities.

To be eligible you need:
  • To be a local VCSE organisation
  • A business or charity registration and bank account
  • Experience of working with the people or community you wish to support with this grant

We want the application process and running of a spotlight project to be inclusive, therefore if you are unsure about the application or are worried your organisation does not have enough experience, please get in touch to discuss. Healthy Minds are here to support organisations to care for the Calderdale community.

Call: 01422 345154 or email: [email protected]

If you are interested in applying, please get in touch with Kiah Hamilton-Adams at [email protected] for a copy of the application form. Any questions you may have can also be directed to Kiah.

Application deadlines are rolling monthly, when you receive an application form you will be informed of the next deadline.
