Work With Us

Why work at Healthy Minds?

Picture

Healthy Minds has Fair Work Charter status
This demonstrates our commitment in five areas:

  • Opportunity: Routes into employment and career progression are inclusive, and all people have access to flexible working arrangements. 48% staff have progressed into roles with additional responsibilities, including management roles, within Healthy Minds.  18% of those began their Healthy Minds journey as volunteers.
  • Wellbeing: Work helps all people to live healthy and happy lives, while making a meaningful contribution to what we do. We foster good physical and mental health and support wider aspects of wellbeing. As a wellbeing organisation, we aim to lead the way in supporting staff with a comprehensive wellbeing policy and employee assistance programme.
  • Employee Voice: All workers are empowered to contribute towards the success of Healthy Minds through positive relationships and effective communication, and trade unions are recognised.
  • Security: We go beyond our minimum legal obligation, paying staff at least the Real Living Wage, and maintain working conditions that provide security and dignity to all workers.
  • Fulfilment: Work provides all people with the opportunity to learn, develop and meaningfully connect to a purpose that resonates with them.

Link Project Worker

This is an opportunity to join an established team making a difference in people's lives.

The Healthy Minds Link project offers alternative support (outside of the statutory system) for those aged upwards of 17yrs, who are stuck in a mental health ‘crisis loop’, presenting with complex needs. Link puts the participant in the ‘driving seat’ to work at pace to suit them.
Link is unique and differs from other Healthy Minds services in that it is a longer term, structured crisis intervention program which helps to focus on supporting participants to reflect on their behavioural responses and develop new and sustainable ways of living their lives to the full.  It differs from statutory services in that it is non-clinical - not responding or planning according to diagnoses. We work carefully to complement and add to statutory services already available, rather than replace them.
