Our 'Positivity Post Box' activity invited people to design cards with positive messages and post them in our post box for us to distribute to those in need of a kind message. There were some stunning cards created by youngsters who attended the event and it was touching to see the huge amounts of understanding, empathy and kindness these young people have towards others. Prior to the festivities, we had the honour of hosting Jenn Wilson, the Chair of Happy Valley Pride, on our radio show. Together, we discussed the links between discrimination and poor mental health, as well as what we can do to tackle these issues in a creative way to promote and improve wellbeing in the LGBTQ+ community.
