Healthy Minds Walks For Wellbeing were born in 2013, following a discussion between Volunteer Helen and Volunteer Coordinator Cath about the benefits of nature and exercise on mental health.
Today the group is entirely volunteer-led, with a large group of volunteers leading a varied programme of walks across Calderdale. Our walks vary in difficulty, we have wheelchair accessible walks, short walks, dog friendly walks, easy and challenging walks that take place throughout the year. Most are circular and accessible by public transport. |
