We have an established track record of providing workshops for community groups throughout Calderdale.
Workshops include a range of interactive and reflective tasks. Participants will place themselves on the continuum of mental health, imagine and discuss different ideas in relation to mental health and identify stigma in the media.
All sessions are flexible and can be tailored to your needs. For community groups and workplaces, sessions are typically 90 minutes and can include information about the Equality Act and workplace discrimination.
The contribution of people who have direct experience of mental distress is an important part of our workshops; this involvement reduces some of the stigma and encourages positive dialogue. If you might consider contributing to sessions, please take a look at our volunteering section.
