Volunteering at Healthy Minds
Our volunteer list is full at present. We will re-open volunteer recruitment in June 2018.
Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring Healthy Minds develop and deliver exceptional services for those experiencing emotional distress throughout Calderdale. Many of our volunteers have personal experiences that places them in an ideal position to promote understanding and knowledge about mental health.
Healthy Minds works with you to create a meaningful role that is rewarding and enjoyable, develops skills and confidence and recognises that your circumstances can change. All our volunteers receive training and ongoing supervision and support, both in groups and one-to-one.
You can reclaim expenses for travel, etc.

Other Ways to Get Involved
From time to time we have short term or more generic volunteer roles. This may include admin work, fundraising events, IT, writing for the newsletter, assisting the Volunteer Support Worker and marketing or publicity. Please check the website for opportunities or contact us to express your interest.
